Revis & Cromartie on the corners. JETS already had the best defense last year, also added Jason Taylor along with Cromartie & Jenkins is back. Not to mention adding Santonio Holmes on offense as well as LT, who looks re-born & rejuvenated again. There's more, I could go on, but JETS are just stacked. If Senor Sanchez can just play at least decent, not horrible, not great, they should be alright.Yah im sure teams are so scared

Revis is definitely a big boost to the defense. Their superbowl hopes definitely increase with him on the squad. Their offense should be pretty good too with LT. They won't have Holmes for the first four games I believe due to suspension, but they will be more than ok.

They would have been stupid to let Revis sit out the season. He's the best corner in the NFL.

I mean he's just the best corner in the league by far, and teams won't even throw to his side anymore. Randy Moss is talking like he's going to do something this week, but he'll get shut down for the 3rd time.

The best corner by far? You mean one of the most overrated corners in the league. Revis is not the guarding the #1 at all times like other top corners and had to fake an injury after Moss embarrassed him on national TV.

When the safeties blew it, though, guess who paid for it? Revis. The best part about it? On that TD grab, Moss KNEW it was his, right when he saw the blown assignment...raised his hand up. He saw the endzone and knew Revis wasn't going to stop him one-on-one, and it turned into one of the nicest TD grabs of his career.
Only fitting that Revis would grab his hammy right after Moss secured the touchdown, not showing any signs of injury for the other plays he was getting his help on. Had Moss not caught that ball, Revis would've continued playing.
He's lucky he's not playing against a prime Randy. Revis Island would sink and the area would turn into swampland, covered in moss.
By far the best corner? I'm sorry, but Asomugha is the best corner in the league, and he doesn't have to tell everyone about it because his game does the talking.

Aso is right up there with him though (hard to say definitively who's better) but he plays for the Raiders and they don't get the same exposure as the Jets

Had it been a 10-15 yard grab for a first down, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal...and if he hadn't ran his mouth, even the touchdown would've been acceptable because it's Randy Moss...but you don't run your mouth, allow a TD on a beautiful catch, then act like a [expletive]-made punk by grabbing your hamstring and never returning to the game.
Maybe he was really injured...we'll see if he plays the next game (says he won't rule himself out, lol), but if he really was injured on that play, it was on that last stride, and Moss already had him one second into the drive.
Revis is an excellent corner, no doubt, but all eyes were on him that game...and when Moss scored on him, and he left and did not return, that was him failing to deliver.
