Here, I'll throw these items out there, see what you think. We play the Blazers two more times and we want to win them both, as do they. If it is going to be a split, logic says we each win at home. However, our home game comes first and we don't yet know if Bynum will be eligible, plus Kobe is not 100%. Portland has been doing well with Gerald Wallace and did win in Miami. If we lose this, whether or not at 100%, do any of you think this increases our chances to win the rematch shortly thereafter? I kind of think it does, our guys are focused. Objectively, if Dallas can keep winning, I think that helps us too because we not only must stay focued on them as our tiebreak deciding game isn't until the end of our homestand, but it keeps us intersted in keeping pace with Chicago and Boston.
Well, I see us losing this game but winning the next one at Rose Garden, too.
First, Kobe clearly has something wrong going on with that ankle and needs to rest. But he is a warrior and will not sit out until he can walk. Plus, we do not know anything about his neck's status. Secondly, Bynum could be suspended. In this case we could not use our size inside. Games against Portland always look like troublesome games for Lakers. Without Bynum in the paint and with an injured Kobe in the starting lineup it would be really tough.
And yes, Dallas can really help us because Blazers will be fighting to get a good seed in April and if we will not be enough focused, we would probably lose.

^ Lol. You're seemingly always defending Portland. I think most of us get you're obviously a Portland fan. It seems to be no secret. Sometimes I wonder if when we match up against one another, you somewhat secretly root more for Portland. It's cool though. Whether you do or you don't, that's you..
Portland is my 2nd fav team and always will be, and i dont mind if we lose 2morrow.

I really don't expect Kobe to shoot well this game or for many games that lie ahead for us. Hopefully that ankle will be better by the playoffs. Pau has to step up and grab rebounds this game now that Drew isn't playing. LO will have to step up as well. I'm glad Barnes is back though, because our bench will be weaker without LO.
Kobe's prob gonna continue to shoot poorly up until the playoffs he's done it for the past 2 or 3 seasons for some reason.
