This game is far more important than the Heat game. Hell, I forgot we lost tonight...all about the Mavs.

If we lose this game against Dallas, it won't matter because the Orlando game is the most important, and Dallas won't matter.

lol

but I really hope we can start another big winning streak

I'm sticking with my prediction of this road trip (5-1, only L @MIA).

This is the most important game of the season. We must win, remember how the Lakers blew the previous game @Dallas, no letdown tomorrow, let's get the W!

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Besides the heat, Lakers always get revenge on teams they lost to. I don't see the Lakers losing this one

Gotta bounce back. One lost game means nothing and this one is way more important than last one.

But it would mean losing 2 in a row. THAT is UNACCEPTABLE.
Just kidding
Still, losing one game after 8 straight wins is not too bad. We cannot win them all. Even '95/'96 Bulls had lost 10 games.

I have confidence we can beat Dallas.

And why in the hell do we have two road games and only one home game against Dallas this season???

But anyway, I def didn't like the way we rebounded against Miami. Makes no sense to get outrebounded both times against Miami.

The Lakers have struggled to shoot 42.4 percent in five games this month. They shot 40.0 percent Thursday, and 29 percent in the second half

"We just didn't capitalize on opportunities," center Andrew Bynum said. "We turned the ball over twice at critical times."

Dallas has won two straight over Los Angeles after losing eight of the previous nine meetings. The Mavs made 12 of 26 3-pointers and had three players score at least 21 points in the first meeting on a night when Nowitzki was limited to 14.

Bryant had 21 points and 10 assists and Lamar Odom added 20 points and 10 boards for the Lakers. The Mavs' 55.0 percent shooting is the second-highest allowed by Los Angeles this season.

HUGE HUGE GAME TOMORROW

Big test for Bynum, he'll be going up against Chandler and Haywood. Both of those guys aren't as talented as Drew but they've always played harder and smarter and been more effective against Drew.

I'm not even worried and would be shocked if we lost tonight, all signs point to a big win for us tonight....

Actually I always thought Bynum has held his own against Chandler and the stats support that. Haywood I don't think he has played much against him as he was with the Wizards for the most part.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

That'd be pretty cool if we blew them out, but that's the least likeliest I bet. Let's get that W!

Most important game of the season? OKAY. Every game is of the same importance in the regular season, and if you want to go with "oh well, you want to perform against team X, and Y" then the Spurs game was by far the most important game of the season. The Spurs are a legitimate title contender who have won multiple rings, the Mavs are a team that generally loses in the first round of the playoffs. With that being said, its the same importance as every other game, considering the Lakers almost certainly aren't going to catch either the Spurs or the Mavs, its just another game against a good team, more of those to come.

Um...what? We're 1 1/2 games behind the Mavs.

Mavs: 47-18
Lakers: 46-20

Yeah, I was about to say the same exact thing when I read his post. LA can most definitely catch Dallas for that #2 seed.

So, I'm guessing Beaubois will be guarding Artest, because there is no way he guards Kobe.

Artest can score over Kidd in the post.
