Team USA winning the gold medal was a big one. Here’s another one for everyone stateside — and especially Lakers fans sweating Kobe Bryant’s option to terminate his Lakers contract at season’s end: Bryant has no intention of jumping to Europe and playing there.

I never took it as serious. No player with the competitiveness of Kobe would leave the best league in the world to play for an inferior one.

Good to see he's just playing around, most of us almost had heart attacks ever since he said that he would bolt to Europe.

Those of us who have observed Kobe over the years didn't take this seriously..

i still think he would seriously consider it if they offered the right amount of money like 50 million because if you watch him in some of those interviews you can tell he wasn't joking when he was asked that.

Yeh I knew he wasn't going anyway and I never took these articles too seriously. He still has some unfinished business to take care of.
