Dirk just dropped 30+ tonight, despite losing to Detroit (no Chandler for the Mavs, and they were missing shots everywhere). I'd be a little worried if Chandler does play Wednesday night, because it's in Dallas, we are 1-4 on the road against winning teams, and Dallas shoots just as well as the Lakers do (top ten in the league, around 46-47%) and may have had "one of those games" against a Pistons team that is really hard to figure out right now, due to all of the lineup changes (sort of like how Cleveland started the season so well, until teams realized who they should be defending).

We should win, but we need our bench to play better, and Gasol can't get lit up by Dirk when both he and Drew are on the floor.

^ LO usually does a good job against Dirk. Maybe he should get more PT in this game.

Dallas has been struggling heavily due to the injuries and subsequent lineup changes. They will be looking for a big win to put them back on track. Lakers better have the proper focus come tomorrow

We got to take advantage of Mavs' bad streak. They are not as good as they were some time ago.
This better be a W.

Go Lakers!!!

Dallas hasn't changed, other than the injuries. They are still an excellent team if everyone is playing. Before they lost Dirk, they went on a 17-1 tear, which included that 12-game win streak.

Once they lost Dirk, they went 2-7, which dropped them out of second place in the West.

Now that he's back in, they are still battling injuries. Caron is done for the year, and Chandler is out right now.

They won't be as great of a team without Caron Butler playing, just because he added an extra element to their offense (his slashing played a role in how they set up Dirk's jumpers), but they will continue to struggle, for sure, as long as Tyson Chandler is out. He is their defensive anchor. Without him, Dallas goes from being a top defensive team in the NBA...to a bottom 15.

Bring Chandler back in, and if everyone else remains healthy, Dallas can still contend, even without Caron. They won't be the bigger threat, but at one point, I'd call them a huge, huge threat to our three-peat, maybe even bigger than the Spurs.

Caron Butler was having a great year before his injury. He was a real difference maker for their squad offensively and was a solid defender. They have insane depth though, so I think they'll be fine.

Missing Chandler is huge though, but, knowing our luck, he'll be healthy enough to go 35+ minutes against us tomorrow

Lets focus in Lakers, this is a great opportunity to really put a dagger in the Mavs and not give them the chance to get out of their slump and go on a winning streak. We are going to need the bench to really step up from here on out. These next two games are a great place to start. Guys like Blake I really want to see step up. And hit your free throws Lakers!!!

Trap game tonight, Dallas missing key players and Lakers know it, Something tells me the Lakers would play alot better if Dallas was at full strength, I hope we don't have a brain fart tonight.
