Three games they should have won but never showed up to. Disappointing.

Bad teams never beat good teams in the NBA. Ever. (sarcasm intended)

Rightttttt, so the Lakers just didn't even try to win this game. Really. (sarcasm intended)

Everyone except for Kobe and Lamar and Matt at times should be ashamed of themselves, that was disgusting. Kobe had a great game

Tonights game reminded me of this one. Sucks to lose but its just 1 game and the Lakers will get out of this funk anyway.

All of you are to blame for this loss, cept me...for some reason.

This really sucks though, back to back losses seem like a trend for us now..

Of course they tried to win the game, they try to win every game. Even though they are obviously the superior team, they are playing against professional NBA players that are paid millions of dollars to play basketball, they are all capable of having very good games. They played like absolute garbage, and they almost won, that is what happens to good teams all the time. They play good and they crush, they play well and they win, they play mediocre and they win, they play poorly and sometimes they win (chicago the other night) sometimes they lose (pacers etc). Take into consideration that every team gets up to play the Lakers and they aren't getting up to play their opponents. Slice it any way you like, a Lakers/Pacers game in November is infinitely bigger for the Pacers than it is for the Lakers, for the Pacers it is one of the 8 biggest games of their season, for the Lakers it is another game. Not making excuses for anybody, but NBA teams, even the greatest teams will lose games, even the Bulls lost games, and they lost them to bad teams, it happens minimum of one time a week in the league, if not much much more.
