I never talked about the 3 ball. If you were paying attention, Childress had 4 offensive boards, and I'm pretty sure that they all turned into scoring (3's) for them.

you talked about bynum. bynum has nothing to do with defending the 3 ball which is what the suns use to murder us. we killed the suns on the boards so that really wasn't too much of an issue...especially when compared to the 3 balls

Don't get pissed at LO for getting that techincal foul. Put yourself in that situation and try to remain calm ESPECIALLY when you were just blatanly fouled.

The NBA technical foul rule is BS. It didn't determine the outcome of the game but it sure as hell had an impact on it.

Jesus Christ Kobe almost had a triple double and some of you are complaining? He was not the problem AT ALL. He should have taken that last 3 that was the only mistake. Our defense was just terrible and we did not rotate out, our TIMING sucked more than anything. Very surprised we didnt bounce back but you know, we're trying to threepeat people, it's not easy to do.

It was initially Kobe, but the Suns run that high pick and roll which makes everyone chase down someone to guard, so you can't guard any ONE person because the only way to guard it is to keep on switching.

I agree, some people are overreacting about Kobe's performance today.. however he was part of the problem

I'm not pinning all the blame on him like some people are though. Kobe barely stepped out today on shooters, didn't box out in the last quarter (would have gotten that triple double if he did), and had that extremely rare moment in the 4th where he stood still, not reacting to a loose ball heading right towards him. Oh and of course his many turnovers..

When a team makes 22 3 pointers, you are going to lose. Many of those 3's were contested and the Suns took very difficult shots that happened to go in, you have to just live with it. They could have done a better job on the offensive boards, but the defensive effort was there, Phoenix just hit a ton of hard shots. They are a professional basketball team and are capable of doing stuff like this, don't lose any sleep over it.

Word

If they had hit only 19 (which is still crazy) instead of 22...????? They Prob loose

what did Phil say?

He said the NBA, when notifying them of the new technical foul rule said a tech would be issued for continuing negative reaction from a player. Lamar's tech there at the end was the complete opposite situation.

damn...was driving to anaheim during the game...dad has it DVRed but i'm in a [expletive]ty mood so i'm not going to watch it tonight...

from a glance at the box score, kobe 1 rebound away from a triple double w/ 14 assists, shoots over 50% and we lose?

22 3 pointers...ugh, terrible defense.
