God damn this Bos/Mia game is ugly. They are both so...boring...
The Celtics actually play team basketball and move the ball pretty smoothly off screens. I never been a fan of watching the way LeBron pounds the ball besides some spectacular passes that he has from time to time.

The Celtics are just awful on offense though. They're not very fluid today at all. I love how they'll go whole quarters ignoring Ray Allen on the offensive end. And the Heat? Ugh. They're only fun to watch in transition, but half-court is beyond ugly.

Agreed. The Celtics have been ignoring Ray Allen lately. I hate when he gets lost in the shuffle. When he is clicking, especially with transition threes, the C's are a totally different team. I agree that the Celtics look terrible today on offense. That has a lot to do with Miami also.

Boston's problem is rebounding
It's funny, because they always have been a bad rebounding team even with Perkins but now it's much worse.

Well yeh. But this game in particular, they're getting outrebounded 32-18; they have 1 offensive board...Miami has 13.

Um...okay? That doesn't explain why the Celtics would ignore Ray Allen on multiple possessions when Wade CLEARLY isn't playing up on him. At all. I don't think it's really that Miami has played unbelievable defense as much as the Celtics NOT running their offense today. Rondo has been a non-factor, and that's not because of Miami's defense. He's just not into this game.

well, you were going on and on about the offenses being so bad when I thought it was more attributed to both teams defense.
And Rondo is rarely a factor offensively anyway.
they were just absolulety crushed on the boards though

Oh, I don't mean Rondo scoring, he wasn't even creating. I think he had like 2 assists halfway through the 3rd or something, finishing with 5 total assists. And 3 turnovers.
But yeah, Boston was terrible in all aspects of their game today.
