I have this for my iphone, and really like it. It's basically an Astronomy app, that uses the iPhone/iPad's compass to direct you to constellations, stars, planets, etc. It's pretty cool - I always wondered where Jupiter was in the sky. Now, I can just search for it, and then it directs me to it with arrows. Definitely makes me want to get the hell out of the city, so that I can see more stars.
