It's for my Toshiba Satellite A205-S4777 laptop. A SATA or whatever internal HDD...

I want at least 200GB, and something fast. No less than 7200RPM for sure. And a good price, something reliable not some [expletive]ty company.

Please help you computer geniuses.

Okay, then a 320 should suffice. It really all depends on your needs. I have a portable external and it's such a hassle. My MB came with a 160, so I can't put all my music and videos on it and I wish I could. Which is why I'm leaning towards buying the new 2.5" 1tb internal.

Man, this thread is making me want to get a 2 TB Internal Drive!! The sad part is that I already have 600 GB, but HD full season shows, Blu Ray movies take their toll.

got a 1tb external recently, have an SSD and a new vid card on the way

and for ima, if thats your price range, you probably can't do much better than what you linked, and you usually can't go wrong with western digital

WTF?! My laptop's harddrive crashed a long, long time ago, and I've been meaing to replace it. I had no idea I could get a nice harddrive for around $60.

Wait wtf, SSDs are better than HDDs in every way imaginable (except price I'd assume)?? Would they work with my laptop or nah. Oh well, maybe I'll think about one in the future.

No, asked a few people and they said it would work in it. I meant, since the laptop can boot from disc and I can browse around on that when I take the HDD out, it must be a harddrive problem, so I hope replacing it fixes everything.
