ARod is a natural at hitting. If I was him I'd suggest taking away his homers from those 3 seasons or at least trimming them down to a certain number (30 is safe). I'd respect him for it and it would shut the haters up. At this point no matter how many he hits ppl are gonna hate.
no doubt he's a good hitter. his .303 career average proves it. and he's closing in on 3,000 hits. same goes for barry bonds. steroids don't make you have better hand-eye coordination.
but he admitted he did steroids, it's not like baseball writers and baseball fans hate on him for no reason, he [expletive]ed up and admitted his mistakes. the fact that all throughout his career he's been known as kind of an a-hole doesn't help the cause either.
i think the HOF voters will probably forgive him and vote him in, but at least for me personally, his home run records are tainted.
