Just wondering why there are separate sections for it?

Most NBA forums just have an NBA discussion subforum and they post all articles/discussions in there. Why not just merge those two?

Usually our NBA talk section was pretty active but it seems kind of dead since the articles section was created. The articles section also feels kind of hidden so users may not know whether anything newsworthy is there or not

yea but the significant ones usually stay on top because it gets enough discussion. Like look at the NBA articles section the first page has stuff dating as late as July 24 (nearly 10 days ago) so not a whole lot of articles posted there either to clutter it up

It's better this way. It was worse the way it was before.

It's good like this. I think just post newsworthy articles and everything in the normal section, and the dumb articles people were posting before (like "Marvin Williams wants to play", "Vince Carter looking forward to not getting hurt") can go in that dumb subforum.
