With Flashbacks, multiple storylines, depressing stuff, faith and awesome cliffhangers.
Only lacking one more element a legendary character.
Shane looks to be filling in the role. Daryl needs to step up
I wish they make flashbacks of the characters past though. Like how Daryl was raised by racist and now has to live with and protect people with different race. Andrea etc. Why the old guy is caring family background etc.

Good to see the show gaining steam. The book is great, a lot different than the show (better in a lot of ways), but the show has its moments too.
This season is already better than last season. Tough to keep action and establish characters in such a short run for the first season. Bummed Frank Darabont isn't attached to this any more - that's a massive loss.

What do you thinks the deal with the people on the farm? They got something going on, or am I imagining things?

The pace needs to pick up for my tastes. Having an episode of "The Walking Dead" with hardly any walking dead in it, is a loss. The whole zombie in the well thing was tacked on feeling and totally clumsy. These guys have been so careful to this point. even if you do get him out of the well, would you still drink that water - no, you wouldn't.
The show is displaying signs of the departure of Darabont. i hope it gets better and doesn't stay with this snail's pace and lack of rhythm. It feels like they're dragging out a lot of loose ends in order to fill the time of an entire season's order in. (i.e. - Merle being out there somewhere, the girl running away, the people on the farm, this stupid pregnancy thing, etc.) This season has had more low lights than highlights so far.
I'll give it 2 more episodes and if it remains this stagnant, I'm checking out.

This show is losing steam and getting bogged down in far too many daytime soap opera-esque details.

Yeah. This pace is horrible. Not enough walking dead has been a grip of mine from the get go. This is Atlanta not Siberia.

Also, do any of you think that Shane is the father of Lori's baby?

I'm hearing that "things are about to happen".
Also, do any of you think that Shane is the father of Lori's baby?

She seemed to be very upset .. She wouldn't be that upset if the child was from Rick ..they want you to believe its Shane's baby.
