How didn't that zombie get to that woman & her baby in the car? He had plenty of time.
Anyone know who drove the van/bus into the prison gates loaded with all the zombies?

I don't know. That whole sequence on the bridge was blah. It's use was a way to show Merle that Daryl is different and didn't need him now. Should have kept them away till season 4 JMO.

I would've loved if the driver was Andrea. It's not. Pretty sure it was that broad who blew Andrea off earlier in the episode.

Crazy Rick is wearing paper thin.

Merle was bomb in that episode.

I like Merle cause in a way he's kinda like another Shane. Just a crazy dude who's different and usually doesn't give a [expletive]. That's good for the show to spice things up a bit or it else, it can be a bit boring at times.

Interesting characters always help. Something TWD is lacking IMO.

I still don't think Merle makes it out this season alive. He and Rick will throw down eventually and get taken out. Maybe by Daryl. I do hope he stays around. He's got the best dialogue on the show.

^ I agree and just the actor himself Michael Rooker is arguably the most impressive and big name on the entire cast.

This show is better when it has a/some wild characters who seem to have adapted to the zombie world better than the others.

In reality they're be lots of crazy types. I don't think the zombie genre has fully realized the crazy [expletive] some people could think up.

Comics by a landslide, no mercy and no end to the madness. Carl is such a badass in the comics, while Negan brings fresh blood to the walking dead storyline.

. They are just right, I have yet to feel unsatisfied with one really, I'm not a comic guy either but I can appreciate properly written work. The walking dead, and predator comics both are really well written I recommend them, if you like reading.

What I've seen is better than the show(the language especially) I've jumped around to different parts of the comic and got confused now.

I need to start at the beginning.

Didn't like the episode much. Worst in a while for me easily.

Today's episode was a filler episode (general model of the show: filler-action-filler-action). Today's episode was written by Angela Kang. As I stated before, women writers are more interested in dialogue than action. You can tell that a woman wrote the episode because the characters do mostly nothing but stand around and talk, and perhaps there is at least one action scene (in this case, Andrea and Milton's capture of her "guardian angel") as a sort of obligatory "eye-opener" or afterthought.

In this case, it wasn't that terrible. Kang gave us an episode where (again) the characters did nothing but talk to each other, but the content of all the talk was pretty damn interesting. Compare this to other episodes where the characters did nothing but talk but the content of their conversations were meaningless small talk or "Lifetime Channel" fuzziness.

This episode, then, employed "action-talking". Dialogue yes, but virtually every single snippet was damned interesting.

But have no fear! If I'm not mistaken the remaining episodes of the season are all written by men! Tonight's episode will probably be the end of conversation and will we get down with some action for the remainder of the season. Example: Scott Gimple writes next week's episode (directed by a woman, but still written by a man). Take heart.

I just noticed something. When they are stopped on the highway and they are looking through cars for supplies and stuff they see several dead bodies in various cars--none of which appear to have head wounds.

Why are these people simply dead and not zombies/walkers?
