They suckered everyone in with an action packed first episode, then went back to what they did before. I have several friends that love(d) this show but are finally realizing what I realized barely into last season. It's a very lazy show, melodramatic, poorly written and shabbily directed.

I think so many people want it to be good that they overlook the glaring problems with it.

Acting bugs the crap out of me.

I liked the episode. Got us away from "the group" and that BS.

This show's turning into a "record and watch later" type of show. Too slow, too much hype between episodes.

Looks like Fido was right, s3 is gonna suck too I can already tell after watching this last episode.

Episode one was obviously satisfactory, episode two for me as well, this one indeed, overall a disappointment. Gave me flashbacks to the slow slow pace and soap-opera-like dragged out BS.

Governor is interesting.

Governor IS interesting, but that being said, they still spent way too much time on the same stuff seemingly for most of the episode (a lot of insignificant things really) and dragged it out. Just looking to take most of the time up it seemed. Nasty flashbacks to most of season 2.

Definitely. Pisses me off more people don't give attention to way better quality shows that deserve it like 'Breaking Bad', 'Sons of Anarchy', 'Dexter', etc.

Episode could have been good but man did they [expletive] i up. This is such an easy show to write and they still [expletive] it up. I dont get what there deal with the whole drama [expletive]. Zombies, killing, clues to how the outbreak started stuff like that is what you focus on not stupid little group troubles. AMC usually puts out amazing shows and they are really stinking up a really easy one.

Also totally agree about the whole michonne chick. Such a annoying character. Who would be stumbling upon a savior town and think no I want to leave. They have everything and you are safe. She is just another shane.

It's been that way for sometime now. I don't get my hopes up. I go in expecting the worse or in other words, expecting a disappointing episode, that way, if it turns out that way (which is more likely), then I'm not as pissed or disappointed. First two were good for me, this one sucked for the most part.

I hardly watch this show live because of it as well. Leave it recording and watch it a tad later. Waiting through commercials for this show is even worse and so not worth it cause they constantly tease you and give you so little.

Dam the governor is sinister. Not sure why he had all those soldiers killed. (which was total BS)
