guys, how do i set up xbox live? i've searched around the internet all day and it's been a complete waste of time. i've got an xbox, a computer and a big [expletive] ethernet cable... but when i plug the cable in to the xbox and the router it does nothing. anyone got any tips on how i can sort this out?

it's OK guys, the problem was the cable i bought didn't work... i got a new one now (my gamertag is PiLR if anyone wants to add me)
