mmm, I gotta say...I found myself checking out Marion Cotillard more than I did Anne Hathaway
Marion cotillard is gorgeous. Highly underrated.

just saw. I enjoyed it...not better than The Avengers though.
Probably my favorite Batman movie
and yeh, Bane went out like a [expletive]
Disagree. Avengers was a much more uniform movie than TDKR. Avengers was more comic book and there was more humor and action but TDKR had a ton of depth and great action to got with it
Also the acting in TDKR was just incredible.

I'm not really comparing the story lines between the two because they're both comic book themed films.
Where the difference comes in (and cannot be avoided imo) is that one movie, The Avengers, is a Marvel Comics movie (superpowers) and the other is a DC Comic movie (more realistic). By its very nature, DC Comics (Batman) is meant to have more "in depth" ala Detective Comics. But when I compare the movies individually...for what they're meant to be...I give The Avengers movie an edge.
Both were exceptional movies and I can't wait until they hit blu ray

I can't wait for TDKR to hit BD also, most definitely pre-ordering that one.
Getting The Avengers too, didn't get a chance to watch it in theaters but I want to watch it as well, will probably just wait until it hits like $16-$17 or less.

I could go on for pages about the bloated length of it, the pompous nature of the film, the immense plot holes, the character betrayals and inequities and major flaws in this thing, but suffice to say I thought it was beyond the biggest disappointment I've had at the movies in a long time.
Give m"The Avengers" any day over this thing. That is a much more cohesive and realized film. The characters should always lead the action, not the other way around.

I think sometimes people overlook the crappiness of a movie because they want to like it so bad.

There is no such thing as a plea of innocence in my court. A plea of innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty. Inquisitor Lord Fyodor Karamazov.
Alea Iacta Est. Julius Caesar.

Incredibly overrated and really just a terrible movie.

I can guarantee every one of those so called plot holes you speak of don't exist

I thought it was a great movie. But i agree it is exaggerated on how good it really is. For me as well avengers was better. There where some plot hoes in the movie that have you confused but then clear up twoard the end. There was not that much action in the movie and i agree the length of the movie was too much could of easily been 2 hours.

I am not a batman fan and I see no problem with saying it's incredibly overrated, but if you think it is terrible you are basically saying it is a movie that must not be watched or cannot be watched and is one of the low of the lows; I cannot agree with that and I do not think anyone can think that unless they have just been pained by their own expectations and hypeIncredibly overrated and really just a terrible movie.
