For all of us who were disappointed that Paraguay would not reach the 2010 World Cup Final there is news to make everyone excited once more.
Larissa Riquelme who became the face, and chest, of the World Cup had promised to run nude through Paraguay's capital in case Paraguay lifted the trophy on July 11th.
As our hopes and dreams faded with David Villa's strike hitting the second post, millions frowned and are now forced to choose yet another team to follow in hopes of victory.
During an interview on Sunday July 4th, Larissa confirmed she will in fact still show the world what we all had secretly hoped for.
"It will be a present to all of the players, and for all the people in Paraguay to enjoy, because they tried as hard as possible and gave it their all on the field." She went on to say.
She didn't give a date yet but I am sure the entire world will be aware of when it does happen and we can all say in a collective voice; there is a god!
