I wonder if they will ever make an NBA game such as Live or 2K in which you can start a season in previous years.
Ex. I can start the 1998 season with a young Kobe and everything.

I think it's pretty unlikely because there would be too many players in the game. I mean 2K or EA would have to do cyberfaces and exc. for every player in the last 10 or more years. Perhaps they could make a game with famous past teams like 3-peat era Lakers or the '90s Bulls.
It would be a wonderful game though. You could keep Kobe and Shaq together for more years

yeah, i would love that. i tried to recreate the 95-96 teams for 2k9 but i got to Boston and gave up because it was too hard.

You're right. But do they want to? They know that many people already buy their vgames every year just because of rookies or trades.
