Eh, Kendrick is so much more interesting than Cole from pretty much every musical standpoint. I enjoy his instrumentals more, his flow is pretty unique, and his lyrical content is more appealing to me. Cole's more serious songs tend to have lyrics that are either personal or something that not everyone can relate to. Section.80 on the other hand does a great job at describing our entire generation.
J. Cole's not bad, but if that collab album comes out, Kendrick would be the selling point.
This is true. They both are illie but I'd buy it more for the Kendrick aspect

I still cant get into KDot. He's talented, but to say I'm a fan, nah. Im kinda forcing myself to like him because of his lyrical ability.

I've had a friend just tell me the same yesterday. He said he can't really get into him besides HiiiPower, he respects him but still and he's a YM fanboy too

January was a slow month in hip-hop
Guess I picked the perfect month to listen to other musical genres cause all the music I was hearing on the hip hop blogs that came out in Jan sucked for the most part.

He's decent at best to me, but it's mostly that I find him a huge joke so I can't take him serious enough to be a fan.

Same here... I like a few of his songs (mostly cause of the beats), but every time he says something about moving weight and all that i kinda laugh. He's decent at best to me, but it's mostly that I find him a huge joke so I can't take him serious enough to be a fan.

"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."
