zelsound is a borderline Laker fan...he is basically a Kobe fan.....many Laker fans start off that way

Honestly though...the regular season means little.
When we looked at the rosters every thought..Lakers v Spurs and C's vs Magic were the respective conference matchups. Some people thought Nuggets would make some noise and possibly Portland..And on the east some thought the Cavs and the Hawks would make a little noise.
But when you look at the rosters. Boston had the most overall talent on the East....especially considering the 3 years of chemistry between their core.

Spurs end up beating the Mavs and it didnt surprise me. Suns were the only shocker in the West. OKC wasnt that much of a shocker, considerind that Westbrook is probably as good as any pg in the league on any given night. He may be the best player on that team.

Cavs losing to the C's wasnt a huge surprise to me. They went 2-2 in the regular season.
Magic, in my opinion, were rusty for Game 1 and that cost them the series....against the C's
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

I picked Boston in 6. I came close but no cigar. You guys out played us when it mattered and the BEST TEAM WON. It was so much closer than lots of people thought and it may go down as one of the more competitive game 7's ever. Congrats Lake Show.
