Who was talking trash about TLN? I must have missed that.

Anyways, is CL working for some of you? Its' strange because I see some of the forums with recent posts but if I click on them I get the error page.

I haven't tested it out, but in theory I think if you log out, go to the section you want to post in, read a thread and click reply it might ask you to log in and then instead of it having to go through the table to display the topics it jumps you into the reply page.

Pick the topic you want to post in. log in post then press back and log out.

The founding members of TLN were OG's for CL back in the day. CL paved the way for much of what is TLN today.

And the Cano went on a spam spree telling members to come join here and that pissed off the CL diehards and OG's.

More of the younger crowd came over and now posts here and the older farts are over at CL.

To be completely accurate, WHILE STILL encouraging them all to continue to posting at CL as I would myself as well, & has been done by many before to help get a site up & going & no harm done, but for some reason, it wasn't taken that well whatsoever by some and so I was canned for la vida (life).

& I wouldn't necessarily call it spam since I was doing it via PM (private messages, or so I thought) and not so much openly on the board. I only mainly invited my friends by the way or posters I liked, which were & are obviously many.

By definition, it's still spam. It's like a spam email, which is why the term was coined in the first place, I believe.

But, people were leaving CL to begin with. They were messaging me on AIM and asking me if I was going to create a Lakers message board, and I told them that I was installing forums at TLN (which was just a blog at the time). There were chats with at least 25-30 people in them, at a time, talking about it...and I was getting so many AIM messages, I started setting my status to invisible (as everyone knows).

That was before you were messaging anyone...and maybe even before you knew about it. There were CL'ers that knew I was leaving a month or two before I actually did, and someone (no idea who) told most of them I was starting my own Lakers site. Had it not been for Jaime and Kam coming to me and asking about adding forums to TLN, I would've done just that.

i have to say though... does the commish not even check CL? Because it is arguably the biggest series since CL has been up and it has been down for the majority of the series.

kind of sucks.. but we are undefeated so it is what it is.

Who runs CL by the way? the clublakers poster hardly posts. Kind of sucks CL is down during the finals. Glad TLN is up, i needed this place when we lost game 5 lol

MySQL error code 134: Record was already deleted (or record file crashed)

Simply repair the tables. It takes less than 30 seconds to figure out which ones are causing the problems, less than 10 to repair them (unless it's your posts or topics table, which would take 60-90 seconds each on a database of that size).
