Just wondering why lock those threads in the OT section? Just bumping some classic threads dont see the harm in it. And when you lock these threads they're gone forever from viewing. Just saying...other than that yall are doing a great job.

There is no problem at all if you bump an old thread, if you actually post something.
Just posting "bump" doesn't make any sense.

Delete the post or something then, cuz that just means the one guy wrote "bump", you lock the thread and ruin the thread for all eternity for everyone else.

I would agree with that, but you would have to ask the mod who closed those threads in specific.

Does every locked thread disappear from our sight? Or can you choose to lock and keep in view of normal members or lock and move to some trash section?

Moderators are asked to add a reply after locking a topic, unless it's spam. Whatever topic(s) were locked...there should have been a post, made by a moderator, explaining why. That's where you come in and PM him, if you have any questions.

And as far as old topics go, there's no need to bump something by just searching for it and posting, "Bump." If you're going to bring back an old topic, have something to say in it.

No, that doesn't mean all of you should go do that tonight, either. I'm sure that generates a lot of excitement to go out and bump topics from 1987 (yeah, I know how some of our members act), but don't be ignorant. Over time, if an older topic pops up in your head and you have something to contribute to it, then search for it and post what you have.

I agree, especially in times like these when some of these light-hearted threads can't hurt to cheer some of us up a bit.

so basically my crime is posting "bump". okay i understand. i just don't get it why beezee has to say "pointless" when the purpose of me bumping threads is to share some of the greatest thread here in tln to some of the new members. nothing against him but there's no harm in that than posting a bunch of gory videos he posted before.

You can bump threads, by having something to actually contribute to the thread. Not just.. "bump"
