I actually think the Eagles will have a pick of either of the 2, I don't think SD is gonna get a RB if they're keeping LT, if Sproles leaves I think they'll pick up a backup in later rounds, hell look at Michael Turner, he was a 5th rounder and Sproles was a 4th rounder.

that would be good but i would rather you guys take moreno so the eagles don't take him

i like his talent but wells is exactly what we need but i don't want moreno slipping to arizona if we don't pick him

i would be much happier if you guys pick one of them and we take the other one

doesn't matter though we probably will end up with only 1 pick because we'll give up the other for anquan boldin

well if mcnabb leaves what about your QB situation? also, boldin is awesome, but i think arizona is gonna restructure his deal since warner made those comments wanting him to stay

Some talk about possibly franchise tagging Sproles. What do you guys think? Is he worth it?

mcnabb will never leave and boldin officially asked to be traded told his agent to not even listen to what the cards have to offer

the chargers HAVE to resign sproles so franchising him is a good option

16. San Diego Chargers (8-8): Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC
The Chargers would also have to consider RBs Knowshon Moreno and Beanie Wells at this point. Depending on Maualuga's hamstring injury and individual workouts, though, he could be a good value in the middle of the first round. His size and explosive nature would make him a great fit at inside linebacker in the Chargers' 3-4 defense.

I would [expletive]ing love this draft pick. A LB core of Merriman-Maualuga-Phillips would be [expletive]ing insane. Please pick Rey if he is available at 16!

I think Rey may be available at that pick. I think he aggravate an injury at the combine so that might lower his stock.

that would be awesome, maybe pick up jason taylor as a backup DL, and then pick up a RB in the 2nd round after we restructure LT's contract since we tagged sproles already

Both sides (LT and management) finally came to an agreement :dance1: . I don't know exactly how his deal was restructured though (salary wise). Anyone have that info?

Sad day in in the AFC West. Looks like Cutler is out of Denver so Denver-SD games might not be exciting without Cutler and Rivers jawing at each other. It looks like Rivers was right about Cutler being a baby.

Rivers got a huge extension. I think he's worth it though. With healthy weapons to go to this year, he'll establish himself as a top 3 or 4 QB.

From what I've seen in the preseason so far, the offensive line needs a lot of work. They let Rivers get sacked like 3 times within the first 5 minutes of Saturday's game. Other than that, I like the way LT is looking out there and defensively, the secondary (mainly Cromartie) seemed to be doing pretty well.

Can't wait till the regular season starts though.

They're a solid team but I don't think they're better than NE or Pittsburgh.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Playing against the Cardinals today at 5. It should be the debut of first rounder Larry English. I'm also looking to see how our rookie Vasquez plays starting at RG again. He really struggled last week but Forney is still injured so he's still starting.

That was a pretty good game for a preseason game. Chargers lost but the first string played great so I'm not worried. That last drive by Atlanta was great though. Redman was so close to getting sacked but he barely got the throw off and completed it on 4th and Goal.

After watching all of the Chargers preseason games, I have a new favorite NFL player....Charlie Whitehurst. I never pray for injury...but man, I wanna see that guy start.

I didn't see anything special from him. Volek was playing just as well, if not better than him.
