I don't see why they would possibly make a Pearl Jam game when they already have so many songs of theirs in the current game.

Apparently it will be all Live tracks...."Go" was one of the tracks listed....

I like Pearl Jam, but do you really think that'd be the best business move possible or close? I mean don't you think, no offense, there are tons of other bands & artists out there that have a way larger following & fanbase that would ultimately interest more people and bring in a lot more money than a Pearl Jam game would for their business?

Well, they're the type that are all about the fans and giving them the time of their life. I think it has nothing to do with money, I believe they're doing this all for the fans to have a fun time with. Rock Band came up to them when the news that they were re-releasing "Ten" hit and I think talks grew and the idea of a game came up and PJ accepted. And recently, they had the entire "Backspacer" album as DLC, I think they're possibly just fans of the game and wanted to be in it just for the fans, not the money at all.

DLC Week of 10/6 Raconteurs, Alanis, Electric Six, Flobots

http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167278

GOOD MORNING!

This week we have some DLC that will doubtlessly be a hit at parties. Seriously. First off we have The Raconteurs (you are looking at huge Brendan Benson fan right here - seriously listen to the album One Mississippi and tell me he's not a genius). We also have two big hits from the Alanis Morissette catalog, a debut hit from the Flobots, and three from the Electric Six (who have been really highly requested as of late). For RBU we have a track from Green Day and anotehr from Rush. ENJOY!

-Sean

Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 System and Wii

Nashville-based rockers The Raconteurs, composed of Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler, will release three songs for Rock Band Oct. 6. "The Raconteurs Pack 01" features "Steady, As She Goes" from the group’s first album, Broken Boy Soldiers, which was nominated for two Grammy Awards; as well as "Many Shades of Black" and "Salute Your Solution," from the group's Grammy Award-winning second album, Consolers of the Lonely.

Additionally, tracks from Alanis Morissette and The Flobots will be featured for DLC next week, and Electric Six also makes their Rock Band debut. The Detroit natives offer up a three pack of songs for the Rock Band Music Store and will kick off a U.S. and UK tour Oct. 14.

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Oct. 6) and PlayStation 3 system (Oct. 8):

• Alanis Morissette – “Head Over Feet”
• Alanis Morissette – “Ironic”
• Electric Six – “Dance Epidemic”
• Electric Six – “Gay Bar”
• Electric Six – “I Don’t Like You”
• The Flobots – “Handlebars”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as “The Raconteurs Pack 01,” “Electric Six Pack 01” and as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system and as individual tracks on Wii.

Price: $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track
$5.49, £2.49 UK, €3.99 EU (440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for “The Raconteurs Pack 01” or “Electric Six Pack 01”
$2.00 USD (200 Wii Points™) per track

FINALLY! A nice week where I will purchase several songs.

First,

Second,

Alanis Morissette - Ironic

Head Over Feet

& maybe eventually Raconteurs - Salute Your Solution

I really like the song "Head Over Feet", but I can't imagine getting it for Rock Band, not like it has much to it. Anyway, I just got my Rock Band Community Zine #23 e-mail and it was the best one I ever received. It says October 20th is Queen DLC day, a Queen 10 song pack. Finally, I mean FINALLY, Queen is one of my all time favorite bands so this is freakin' awesome for me. The songs are

-Another One Bites the Dust
-Crazy Little Thing Called Love
-One Vision
-Fat Bottom Girls
-I Want It All
-I Want to Break Free
-Killer Queen
-Somebody to Love
-Tie Your Mother Down
-Under Pressure

I'm getting most of these for sure, but just to have Killer Queen and Somebody to Love would have been awesome enough.

Fat Bottom Girls

all you need.

I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed

FLIPPIN' FANTASTIC!!! This news is literally nothing short of orgasmic. Thanks for posting this Weezy. Probably would've found out eventually, but I'm glad I heard it as soon as I did by your name, +1

I'll be getting:

Another One Bites The Dust
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Killer Queen
Under Pressure

& eventually Somebody To Love, & maybe Fat Bottom Girls and I Want It All somewhere down the line.

Other favorite Queen songs of mine, which are not listed here include the obvious of course: Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, then Body Language, Flash's Theme (AKA song near the end of the film in 'Blades of Glory'), You're My Best Friend, & Bicycle Race.

Hey Ima, I'm just curious, so you just sing all the time? Never really try anything else? Ever gone to a karaoke bar by any chance?

As a stupid side point...

I remember when "Ironic" was this massive hit how some teacher here in Orange County was using the song to teach his students about how everything in the song is not irony.

Funny, stupid and not needed, but funny to me still.

I sing primarily, mostly cuz no one else ever wants to do it, it doesn't tire me out, and I can get good %s if I know the song (while sounding horrible)... I just enjoy it. If I've never heard the song before than it's just reeeal bad.

But I do do the other instruments as well. I don't think I can do hard drums anymore, there was a time when I could, but medium is fine. Also, during the GH2 days I could play expert guitar for most songs but now I doubt it, can play everything on hard though on guitar.

DLC Week of 10/13 Brütal Legend Pack, Blink-182, Black Tide, Satriani, Kansas, L7

http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168158

GOOD MORNING!

In celebration of our good friends at Double Fine putting out Brütal Legend on Rocktober 13th we have a 3 pack of tracks from their soundtrack - Motörhead, Tenacious D, and Testament. If you'd like to hear more about the music in Brütal Legend we have a sweet interview with creator Tim Schafer on our brand spanking new bi-weekly podcast which you can find here on our podcast page (there's also an interview with Claudio from Coheed and Cambria!)

“These are three great songs that totally capture the feeling of Brütal Legend. I can’t wait to play them in Rock Band,” said Tim Schafer, founder of Double Fine Productions. “I’ve air-drummed to all of them so many times, I’m sure I’ll be able to beat them on hard mode, no problem. Or at least on medium. Like medium plus. That’s a setting, right?”

But the fun doesn't stop there Because we also have tracks from Black Tide, Blink-182, Joe Satriani, Kansas, and L7. We also have a track from Pearl Jam and one from Foreigner hitting Rock Band: Unplugged.

HAPPY ROCKTOBER!
Sean

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Oct. 13) and PlayStation 3 system (Oct. 15):

• Motörhead – “(We Are) The Road Crew ‘08”
• Tenacious D – “The Metal”
• Testament – “More Than Meets the Eye”
• Black Tide – “Show Me the Way”
• Blink-182 – “What’s My Age Again?”
• Joe Satriani – “Satch Boogie”
• Joe Satriani – “Surfing with the Alien”
• Kansas – “Icarus (Borne on the Wings of Steel)” (Live from Two for the Show)
• Kansas – “Point of Know Return” (Live from Two for the Show)
• L7 – “Andres”

(All tracks are original master recordings)

These tracks will be available for purchase as “Brütal Legend Pack” and as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system and as individual tracks on Wii.

Price:
$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track

Mostly crap for me. Like Kansas, but don't like any of the songs they chose. Might get the Blink song, might.

Oh & sorry to all of those I offended with the double post, it was either that or I deleted my previous post not to make a double post and people get pissed when that happens as well so again, yet another no win situation.

Rape me.

Not bad, I'll probably get that Blink song cause I like the guitar and it makes me laugh, and I'll probably get the Tenacious D song as well. I might get those Joe Satraini songs as well, I've never even listened to him but awesome guitar songs in RB are not plentiful.
