Boston takes home court, and they gave the Magic their 1st loss in playoffs.

Celtics win!!! yeah

And LOL at the idea of Carter and Allen matching up with each other, maybe in 1 or 2 possessions but thats it

Homecourt here we come :D

And for those saying why we'd win this year over the Celtics vs the 08 team?

1) Gasol is better this year than that year
2) No Posey on that team. We have a Posey caliber player here in Ron Artest. Now lets see how Pierce does
3) We have Bynum. Granted he's not 100% but I'll take 15 minutes of his production over Turiaf's from that series
4) Revenge factor. This team has a purpose...a motivation now and they won't fall asleep. Odom/Gasol/Kobe are hungry. We are more experienced now. Kobe and Fish led a bunch of n00bs and we did a tremendous job, just wasn't enough. Our guys are experienced they know whats it gonna take to win
5) HOMECOURT. Yea Boston plays better on the road but nothing like a intense playoff home crowd at Staples Center especially when Boston's in town
6) We saw the best PG's in the game...Westbrook, Williams and eventually will get by Nash. Rondo is not good as the majority of those guys, we won't have problem if Rondo puts up big numbers

I'm salivating at the thought of facing Boston in the finals

I truly hope we can face the Celtics in the finals. They will be a good opponent to face and it will be a good rematch I think.

I think the key to a possible finals rematch between us and the Celtics will be how well we can stop Tony Allen. Just like in 2008, guys coming off their bench made a huge impact, like Leon Powe. Tony Allen is the key to their bench imo.

I'm sorry did the Lakers already win their series against the Suns?

This could happen to the Lakers tomorrow.

Thankfully they don't have James Posey like they did in 2008. He was a tough guy off the bench. Anyway as for this Magic/Celtics series I see Celtics beating the Magic in 6 or 7 games. Boston is not that great of a home team. I prefer to face Boston over Orlando because we will have homecourt advantage against Boston.

Real Talk.

Lets take care of Phoenix first then we could talk about bashing Boston into the ground if we are lucky enough to meet in the finals.

LETS GO LAKERS!!!!!!!

That's why I mentioned in a POSSIBLE finals rematch. Of course nothing is given we still have a long way to go and the Suns are a very good team and we need to be focused from the get-go.

def celtics in six btw.

I would not be surprised at all if they also took the second game in Orlando.

Celts big weakness is hanging onto their leads, a similar weakness to us Lakers.

That in mind, it would make a crazy finals series. NO LEAD IS SAFE LOL

We still havea lot of work to do ourselves, as does Boston, but if the first game is any indication of how both series will play out, it looks like we will have a shot at getting a little redemption against Boston in the finals this year. Kind of like the 85 Lakers got redemption against Boston after losing in 84. If KG had not been injured last year, we probably would have played them in the finals last year. Of course in this series, we get homecourt.

Fisher can't keep up with Rondo

Nor could he keep up with Westbrook and Williams - didn't seem to matter when we won those series.
