Straylight Run is a band I recommend to everyone looking for something new. They are really energetic and have some great lyrics.
A new band I found recently that I really like is Every Avenue. Give them a listen.
Phantom Planet, The Sophomore Attempt, Death Cab for Cutie (new CD, "Narrow Stairs", is amaZING!), give some of them a try and let me know which ones you like and I can hook you up with some more.
