That's what I'm saying... I really think maybe Mitch chose Yue for business reasons... he wanted to tap into the Chinese market. Because if you look at this from a basketball point of view, Marc Gasol is an EASY choice.

It was not Mitch's choice who to send to Grizzlies. It was the Grizzlies that made the Choice of Marc Gasol. Mitch simply said to them that the Lakers would not give them both Marc and Yue.

Possibly.
The NBA is big in China and having Yue on our team will certainly boost the Lakers in China. However, Kobe is already a god in China, we are already a very popular team in China (behind Rockets), so I'm not sure just how much it will boost our popularity in China.
