i saw acouple videos and i thot it was just going to be a recycled mw2, but i may get it now

Different developers, way different game. One of the most notable things that Infinity CoD's didn't have was infinite enemies, that TreyArch ones have, so you gotta reach a certain point in the field of combat to make the enemies stop coming, if you go back, enemies will pop up again and they'll keep coming till you reach the point. [expletive]ed up [expletive], Killzone 2 had that in the last mission, kinda the thing that keeps me away from going for the platinum on TreyArch CoD's.
The online mode is way better than Infinity's tho

Been playing it all night/morning/day since 1 am. I'm in love with the customization. I can't wait to get real deep with the emblem editor and try to make some crazy stuff.

The party system is terrible right now, trying to play with your buddies is almost impossible as the servers just are overloaded.

Game is fun...

I got 129 kills on some snow level...

Wait until people find all the exploits. COD is super fun online for the first month, then all the people find out the exploits.

why doesn't call of duty have 32 player battles?

Game is alright, growing on me.

hate that you can't carry a shotgun as a secondary. Primary shotty is useless.

Frags seem underpowered.

It lags.

Hate you have to pay for weapons. paying for killstreaks and perks emblems and that other crap is cool. just not guns.

Cannot stand this game right now...

It is near impossible to get a game going with friends...
The game fails to start 95-99% of the time when you have a party of 6.

Sometimes you feel like you have found a gun you like, and then the next game you cannot get a kill with it...
Host seems to matter more then any other FPS game to date
Most of the maps are not fun... They range from BIG TO where you will run around for mins without seeing anyone, to so close you will be hit with random nades every life.


Then there is some minor stuff...
I hate the diving, players run around and are flying all over the place.
Every explosion sounds the same. From the smallest Nade, to a bomb site exploding, to nube toobs, to rocket launchers, to RC Cars.



I thought i would be getting more comfy with the game, and, after playing a bit, and getting to lvl 30 something, i still feel lost, and unintrested in the game...

Im sure if the party system was working better, things would be fine...


But, i hate this game as is...
It takes many mins to hours to get into a game with your friends...
We tried for over an hour, before everyone gave up...
Only played 3 games in a 3 hour window, with the majority of the time trying to find a game, only to have your party get disconected, or have 5 of the 6 players make it in.


I will give it a week or so, and then check it out again, and hope the mistakes are fixed.

i like BLACK OPS' balanced guns / Kill streaks so far, but i hate the sluggish-ness i feel / and the graphics are not top notched. liking MW2 fast control response and graphics.

also also, the fact that i CANNOT hear footsteps. the [expletive] man, cannot even use my turtlebeaches to hear footsteps.

PS anyone else feel like the game is sluggish a bit? IE the controls feels weird compared to MW2 or maybe its just me

only thing i hate about this game right now is the lag, and the camping... there's way too many buildings in this game where u can just hide out and camp in, i been in afew games where people just hide behind doors and wait for you to walk by.. cod4 and mw2 had one of the best level designs i ever seen in a FPS where it was almost impossible to camp in one spot for a long time, but this game has many buildings where u can just hide out

the graphics do suck tho compared to cod4 and mw2, i don't know why Treyarch couldn't just go off of what infinity ward did, but overall i like how this game requires more skill.. mw2 was way too easy to just pick up and start dominating in

agree with what you guys are saying. Game can be fun but it's frustrating feeling like the game isn't 100% ready. I felt similar when I bought SOCOM confrontation.

CODBO does feel sluggish, one of my first impressions.

Connections have been terrible. Interrupting matches to find new hosts.

Anyone get this? get in a lobby for a game and play, then after the match the lobby closes. PITA.

Whens the 1st patch coming.

maps aren't very good. how about the cul de sac one? That SOB is RC hell.
