Lakers in 5

Odom is gonna do really well

We have to watch out for CJ Miles, Paul Millsapp and Wesley Matthews who are ballin like crazy

D Will is the man but it will be fun eliminating Utah for the 3rd straight year

It looks like he got hurt in the closing seconds of his last game with the Nuggets...something to do with his arm but yea they're coming in dinged up as well into this series

Lakers are 3-1 vs them this year. 1 win without Kobe at Utah

This Jazz team is OKC with experience. So lets not sleep on them.

D-Will go off and destroy us as he always does, but our bigs should have their way against Utah inside. Pau guards Boozer very well and LO usually destroys Utah. Kobe just said in his press conference that there is no need to do a scouting report on Utah, b/c they know Utah in and out. I believe LA will win in 6 games at the most.

we really cant let guys like Miles and Matthews go off. Boozer and Pau will probably cancel each other out. They're gonna challenge us, OKC was a good preparation for them

I agree. Great crowd and a good overall coached team. We have beaten them last 2 years and had a good record vs them this year...I feel REALLY GOOD heading into this series

Round 2! I agree with you MDI. Matthews, Milsap, Miles, Fesenko all need to be contained ( lol maybe not Fes). But I was impressed with their energy and defense, especially against Melo. Hopefully Fish can hang with Deron.

No more than 5, Boozer has a history of struggling against us so Pau will dominate him, Drew has no competition at all and LO is the Jazz killer so this series should def be easier that OKC.

You can't really say the Jazz are like the Thunder. OKC ran us to death with fresh, young legs. The fastbreak maximized what Westbrook can do on the floor.

The Thunder are also an excellent defensive team.

Utah will stick with Deron and Boozer working inside and out, getting their teammates involved.

Only problem is, Boozer has been known to struggle against Gasol, and Williams will get wrapped up in posting Fisher, who is just as strong.

I think we toss the Jazz in five, or a comfortable six. They may be as good as the Thunder, but there were way too many match-up problems for us against OKC.

Word Utah is just the perfect matchup for us.

They are in no way shape or form like OKC. Kobe said it perfectly in his post-game comments after Game 6 tonight. He said, We're not going to see another team remotely close to the athleticism the Thunder had in the rest of the Playoffs this year."

I don't think AK-47 is going to return Games 1 & 2 so, Kobe should have a nice time with C.J Miles or the rookie, Wesley Mathews guarding him. Not to mention with our size and length despite Kuofus' big body, the Jazz are just too small.

I've already said it. Feed the bigs, attack the rim, and make Utah run. Don't worry about DWill because he will crisscross all three of our PGs and their mothers at the same time. He can go for 30 and we'll still take the series easily if we use our speed and length to our advantage.

Don't say that, please don't say that, it's us, the Lakers. Players almost always more times than not miraculously heal quicker than expected to suit up against us. I've seen it happen far too much.

I hope these Jazz don't shoot double or triple the amount of FTs as us like the Thunder did. That was just [expletive]ing ridiculous.

I think well kill em only cuz odom always burns them and boozer never plays good against us and bynum against fesenko lol what a joke and it looks like Kobe is getting his shooting touch back... We will beat them bad if the bench plays like they did against thunder game 6
