Very interesting series. Hate both of these teams obviously. I do see the Celtics possibly stealing the first one on the road.

It looks like the first two games of that series will happen on Saturday and Monday. Times TBD. Game 1 will be shown on TNT.

The only reason I want the Cavs to lose is because I want LBJ to bolt to New York and all the Cleveland fans can jump off the bandwagon.

I want one of two outcomes for the series:

The series goes 7 games where the Cavs lose. Like others said, overtimes, bloody, suspensions, fights and no handshakes (easy for LBJ). I want a battle.

or the Cavs get swept (which most likely won't happen)

I am underestimating the Celtics...or maybe overrating the Heat, but the Celtics looked impressive in the wins. I am hoping the Celtics can beat the Cavaliers in 6 or 7.

LOL The Celtics are franchise killers. They probably made Wade play his last game in a Heat uniform and they might make Lebron play his last game in a Cavs uniform lol

They split the season series at 2 a peice, and I think this series will probably go all the way. LeBron is going to put up monster stats again, there is no one on that roster that can guard him.

I don't care who wins. If we really want to repeat as Champs, it doesn't matter who we play. But I'll never want the Celtics to win.

Same with me, i don't give a [expletive] who wins, i just want them to kill each other.

Looking at this objectively, all the experts are picking the Cavs. I still believe we can beat Cleveland in the finals, but that matchup is a long way off.

We know what's in Cleveland's favor. This will be the first series the Boston big 3 has played without HCA. For all the doom we have seen written on the wall for Boston this year, we cant count them out until they're out. In their favor now, they do have their defense in place, and have figured out how to come from behind when trailing at home; see second half of game one versus Miami. Their biggest strength this year was winning on the road. Boston just may steal game one or two then all bets are off as to the outcome. It's their last chance, rebuilding is about to start in Beantown.

No matter who wins, the victor will lose some blood and be softened up a bit for the Magic. Then that's a whole new ballgame.

See my signature, I want Boston in the finals but will shed no tears if they get eaten up in the east first. We did beat the team that eliminated them 8 times in the finals to win a title. 7 times it was from the ECF, and last year the ECSF.

You sure?

Yep. We are the Lakers for crying out loud. LeBron has plenty of years left to win a ring or two for whatever franchise he ends up with.

Also, Stern said his ideal matchup is Lakers Celtics. He would probably rather see LeBron on the Knicks, he needs that NY cash in the NBA coffers.

Think about this though. I'll reply later if anyone wants to discuss. I'm off to bed.

Let's assume for moment Cavs win and LeBron stays in Cleveland. Does anyone really think LeBron will win the next 10 titles, let laone match Jordan's six? C'mon, we have seen how hard it is to repeat. After we did it in 1988, after 20 years of no one doing it, it became the norm. The Spurs broke the trend, no one can repeat. At least we know how to do it. Cavs have never won. The NBA is evolving. If we can't repeat this year, we will be hungry next. As long as Kobe keeps going, we are in the mix. That Cavs team is built for now. If LeBron stays, he'll make it a short contract and bail next time, because he won't repeat.
