Designed for the serious Street Fighter enthusiast, nothing brings the arcade experience closer to home than the Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition. Overseen by Capcom and legendary producer Yoshinori Ono, the Tournament Edition features an unparalleled level of detail and uses arcade quality components. Sourced directly from arcade manufacturer Sanwa Denshi™, the FightStick: Tournament Edition uses the same Japanese style ball-handled joystick and 30mm Action Buttons found in the official Street Fighter IV Vewlix™ arcade cabinet, marking the first time such components have been used for a commercial product outside of Japan. With the D-Pad control switch, dual Turbo functionality for each button, and exact button layout matching the Vewlix Street Fighter IV arcade panel, the FightStick: Tournament Edition delivers an experience unlike any other arcade styled controller. Complete with detailed touches such as screw on rubber feet for solid surface play, unobtrusive placement of the Start and Select/Back Buttons along with a locking mechanism preventing accidental activation of Turbo settings for tournament play, the FightStick: Tournament Edition represents the best possible choice for the hardcore and dedicated Street Fighter fan.

In Japan, on the 29th Sept I think, the arcade machines will unlock a new character. My bet is Gouken. This is not a rumour though, Gouken has been shown in trailers and it's my guess that it's him. Others think it may be Evil Ryu, but I highly doubt so since Ryu swore not to use the dark hadou, though he still uses that iteration's shinkuu hadouken as a super in SF4...<_<

Most fans are confident its Gouken

considering its supposed to be a character that we've never played before but seen profiles of....its a very likely choice

That would be lame. Gouken was already killed by Gouki (Akuma) in the canon. And another Hadou user? It'll be cool for novelty value, but that's it. 3 and half is more than enough...

And for those who don't know, this is an interquel. It takes place in between SF2 and 3.

That's the problem. We all thought Gouken was killed by Gouki...turns out that he probably survived. Who's the 1 and a half hadou users? I only remember Gouki and Ryu are the only ones with Hadou.

Yeap, SF4 comes between SF2(technically after Turbo) and 3.

By Hadou I just meant it as a blanket term for all of those with that style (I'm pretty sure they didn't really give it an official name). Ryu, Ken, Akuma, and Dan Hibiki counts as half. And I also forgot about Sakura who also might be in the game.

IIRC, Ryu found Gouken's dead body and the room was smothered in blood, and Ryu buried Gouken himself. It's not really a big deal though if they add him. I'm sure they'll think of some story as to why he's alive...

Sakura can't be counted, she started off as a student and only mimic-ed Ryu in some cases. Dan is not part of that team for sure, though he LOOKS like Ryu/Ken.

If you read the Wiki, Hadou is referring more towards the ki, namely hadouken type of attacks. Ken isn't that type of player. Only Ryu and Akuma.

Yeah that storyline is what I wanted to know more of since he's already being introduced.

Dan can be included. Dan was a student of Gouken until he was kicked out, and all his moves are based on their style. Sakura too. They both follow the basics of their style with a fireball, rising uppercut, and spinning kick.

Ok my bad, i mixed up whatever lore there was for both of them....meh.

Then again, Gouken's supposed revival is still baffling.
