The Philadelphia Eagles have reached agreement on a blockbuster intra-division trade that will send perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins, according to multiple sources close to the situation.

The move means the Redskins now have a new starting quarterback and the Eagles have a new one as well in Kevin Kolb. Michael Vick is now in line as the team's backup.

Surprised they traded him to a rival, Washington also has a weak O-Line.

Ridiculous, they are going to regret trading him to a team in their division.

Its sad, he plays his heart out last 10 years even got booed in the draft and they want to trade him off.
If it does go down, he will try to stick it to them 2 times this upcoming season.

Wow. Philly is dumb.

You trade your pro bowl QB...not only trade him...but you trade him to a NFC East rival?

lol

Redskins are looking good, they've been really active this offseason pretty much every since they signed Shannahan. As for the Eagles I dont know what they see in Kolb, the dude has played one good game.

Eagles just showed mcnabb a ton of respect. they could have easily traded him to oakland or buffalo but out of respect they sent him somewhere he wanted to go. i'm proud of andy, proud of the front office

they weren't ruthless they were heart felt and gave him what he wanted

he was leaving after the season anyways for minnesota so might as well get compensation, but they didn't have to give him what he wanted, but they did and i applaud them for it

As an Eagle fan, I cant disagree with what you said. The front office has been on some good ish the past 2 years, letting Dawkins, Westbrook, Sheldon, and now McNabb go for nothing.

..and our fan base is just the worst. A lot of dumbasses and bandwagoners here. I mean, Romo has only won 1 playoff game, yet he is still in a Cowboys uniform, and loved by the fans. The Eagles go out, trade their best QB (09 PBer), as if he were the problem. To make things more silly, its to a division rival, who's team looks really good now. Expect a lottery team next year, and a Kolb to lead the NFL in INTs. I cant wait to see the fans cry and say how wrong they were, and wish they still had #5 in an Eagles jersey. :ranting:

Not only that but the Eagles didn't even bother getting the Skins first round pick. Now, Washington has their QB and they're prolly gonna take an OT like Okung with their 4th pick in the draft.

Good luck Kolb in the NFC East.

This. Alot of people are talking about when McNabb is going to call out the Eagles, but they don't realize how generous the Eagles front office was.
