Because the Lakers’ title run took them deep into the summer and was followed quickly by the 2008 Olympic Games, it seems like this NBA offseason has been shorter than ever. Can you believe Lakers’ training camp is just 12 days away?
But the great thing about having a busy offseason is you get more shots at seeing Kobe, both on and off the court.
KB continues his busy summer this Friday with his first appearance on the Charlie Rose Show (Friday, Sept. 19, 11:30 pm, PBS).
Kobe will be joined by fellow Olympic teammate Jason Kidd and Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski to talk about their experiences as members of the 2008 gold-winning Men’s Basketball team.
If you haven’t seen the Charlie Rose Show before, get ready for something special. Rose has unique style which is complimentary, friendly and probing. He’s smart, he delves into issues and he has a way of getting his subject to open up in new and exciting ways.
As always, we’ll post video of Friday’s interview after the show airs.
