It shows that he knows Gale, and the book said something something like, "it was nice working with you." I think that Hank can put 2 and 2 together and realize that Walt is one, a meth cook, and two, matches Heisenberg's features exactly.

all that matters is what's Hank gonna do with this information. right?
we know walts on the run, months later. buys a machine gun. how did Walter get out? how did he find out heat was coming?
that inscription and some of the other stuff, to me isn't enough to bury Walt as "the guy". not when Hanks already been told to stop investigating the case. am I right??

No doubt a year is way too ridiculously long, but at least great shows like 'Dexter', 'Boardwalk Empire', and 'The Walking Dead' will be coming soon in the meantime.
