So I plug in my ipod. iTunes crashes, i try accessing it through my computer, that crashes. I use other programs like Xilisoft and that crashes. I try any way of accessing my ipod, it crashes.

I unplug my ipod, everything opens up and starts working. I've tried reinstalling itunes, installed older versions, reset my ipod, a different usb cable, on a different a computer. Basically everything, yet I still can't access it.

I'm running Windows Vista, the ipod is an iPod Classic 120gb.

Any help

I'm also running on Windows Vista and I've had no problems with my iPod Classic, but mine's a 160GB. It seems that Apple has failed to provide fixes/updates to the 120GB. You're not alone. Check this forum out:

Perhaps you can call Apple for a replacement?

Most likely is a hardware problem then. Thanks Hero.
