doesn't really matter. it's not high impact players getting traded here. the spurs probably got like a 2nd round draft pick or like stephen graham.

ratliff was a good reserve in the late 90's and early 2000's. he was a great shot blocker and a decent rebounder. but now, idk. he's decent insurance in case of injury i guess. but nothing else.

^true. but they probably feel they don't have a huge shot at success in the playoffs and will try to get rid of some contracts to help with their higher than usual payroll. if they're not winning anyways, might as well save some cash. that's a horrible way to think but a lot of teams do that now in days.
