Peeps are always quick to complain and point out whats wrong with a process but usually never compliment when something is done progressivly that makes things better. So I wanted to say that ya'll did something good when you locked that topic up. The forum's content should be controlled to a certain extent. When topics are frivilous and have no point in its context except to "get attention" or "irritate others" it should be controlled. Users with viable opinions and knowledge (atleast some of the time....lol) become disheartend and un-motivated to post or even visit when topics like the one above consume the majority of reading material.

So props for locking that up.

The mods have been doing great lately. We haven't exactly had a full-blown discussion about moderating, but some questions have been asked and answered in our staff forums, and interest seems to be picking up again. It's one thing we really needed to improve with, and I feel like it's getting there.

I really commend the mods. There has been a lot of recent nonsense threads.

Everyone hates Pau Gasol because he's non-american thread...and others. Great Job!

Yeah, seems fine. Just a spammer.

For spammers, go to the profile and click "Flag as Spammer" and then delete the post(s). You don't have to use the warning system or anything.

Obviously, the thread made wasn't going to spark any Lakers talk. From the people saying that he needs to die, to people like me, who thought that the thread gave a bad image to the fourms...not many were in support of True Lakers Fan, much less the thread.

Threads are usually huge idea's that will spark relevant conversations. An "LOL JK" thread is completely the opposite.
