Can't wait for this game! Posted Image Hopefully Kobe will play but I'm sure we can win without him. But him playing his 1000th game against them would be pretty sweet.

Lets be realistic here, no Kobe Bryant while facing a tough Celtic squad, I say it's a loss.

I say the celts show up and play a pretty good game, but we should still be able to win.

The Celtics arent exactly playing great basketball right now.. of course they will be up for this game but I think we will still be able to compete with them without Kobe.. the way we have been playing the last four games is certainly encouraging but it also took four missed FT's in the last minute and a half from the Kings to avoid a third straight loss by the Celtics.. I say Bynum and Artest dominate and the Lakers get the W minus KB.. it will be a huge boost of confidence for us when we knock of the Celtics without Kobe.. lets get it!
"He's the best player in the game. It's just that simple. There's nothing that Kobe Bryant can't do. He will defend your best player. He will shoot from the perimeter. He will get all in your mug, he will do whatever it takes. He is the most complete basketball player in the game today, bar none. He has an assassin's mentality." -- Stephen A. Smith

The Jazz would kick the Celtics [expletive] right now. I don't know why you guys think the Celtics are so good...

In a seven game series?

Jazz are just now learning how to win road games and even still...they're a .500 team on the road.

Of course it would be better if we had KB, but I still believe that this team can beat Boston without him.I'm not saying it is definite that we will win, and if we lose, I wouldn't be surprised either.

Heard this morning from BSPN that Kobe said he'd try out his ankle today and make a "gametime decision" whether he will play or not. Knowing Kobe, I don't think he'll miss this game. You could severe his leg and I still think he'd play against the Celtics.
