This game will not be easy at all. Marc and Randolph are good low post players and good rebounders. I just hope that Bynum and Gasol will come with that energy that they had from the Celtics game. Kobe can also pass Jerry West, but I think he will do it after this road trip, when they come back to the Staples Center.

Don't play Bynum.

Could not agree more!

If Bynum goes down after this game, I think Bynum should sit from here on out every game against Memphis.

Lakers by 6-10. 30 points for KB. I'm throwing the gauntlet down. Zen Master passes Pat Riley in a doozy.

Drew shouldn't play that much please be careful. Memphis is having a good year so far and we will need to play great D the whole game and execute our offense much better than last game. Lets get it Lakeshow!!!!!

Let's wrap this up. Don't play Bynum, don't make Kobe score 27 points ( I want him to pass West at home ). Go Lakers !

I thought the staff said we would go 3-5, based on how poor we played in Cleveland.

oops got a little mixed up..

5-3 is what many of us predicted i think.. going 6-2 would really be pretty good considering how poor we played on the road this season

Some things to consider...

KB is 28 points behind Jerry West on the club's all-time scoring list.

KB scored 41 points and went 19 for 30 from the field in the Lakers' 114-98 home win over the Grizzlies on Nov. 6.

KB's averaging 33.0 points and shooting 51.5 percent in his last six games at Memphis, highlighted by a 60-point effort in a 121-119 Lakers victory there March 22, 2007.

Though the Grizzlies (25-21) are 17-6 at home this season, Los Angeles has won its last four trips to FedEx Forum.

Zack Randolph is averaging 23.9 points with 12.7 boards in his last eight games. He had 21 points and 15 rebounds in the November loss to the Lakers.

Memphis averages 103.5 PPG, LA averages 103.6 PPG.

Memphis allows 103.5 PPG, LA allows 96.6 PPG.

Memphis has lose two in a row but they are 7-3 in their last ten games.

Let's get it!

Pau Gasol is GONE

I concur. We really should be ending it with a 7-1 record. We clearly loss the Cleveland game, but we blew the Toronto game, period. Regardless, we had our biggest win of the season yesterday, and ending this trip 6-2 is pretty good.

AB didnt get hurt last time we played Grizz. you guys need to get over that. It was kobe falling on him, as well as LO in practice. It has never been grizz. I want ab to pick up where he left off as i do the team. We win this and we end the trip with an exclamation point.
Kobe's official reign of terror is about to get its jump off on.
