Can you eliminate the big gap between Pass The Mic and the purple bar? I know its a little thing but its bothering me.

I suggest we fit a Calendar there, a countdown to next game and maybe the nba standings. Would look amazing.

Looks like Status updates should be lowered so there isn't so many. For mods/admins that space is filled up by other forums, so that's why we don't see it. =\ Great point to bring up!

Question, do you guys use the "Recently Added Topics" sidebar menu? It seems if I remove that, it fixes that problem. That or cutting the status update from 10 to 5.

Recently Added Topics section is cool, i don't think you should remove that.
btw, i just found out that when i hide Recently Added Topics, the gap is gone.

I know personally I hide the side bar navigation as all that content on the right just annoys me. Maybe set it by default that it's hidden, and if members choose to view the content on the right, they can but at the cost of having that gap?

I personally have the sidebar open, and I am sure more than half of the members who are active on this site have it open. Maybe some don't care, but even if there wasn't a gap, I still feel it would be cool to add a calendar there.

Change the number of displayed Status Updates from 10 to 5. That should have fixed it.
