Hey, basically this has to do with the amount of posts made in a thread before it gets a lock. Say something like the Random Thread, eventually it will get so big that the loading times for the thread will be crazy. So I am suggesting a possible max limit number of posts. Once it hits the max limit, it get's locked, and we create a new thread .

I personally think 25,000 posts is a good number (currently at 14,000)

I don't think there's a modification for it, something that says, "Lock after X posts." If it were anything, it would be an agreement between mods to lock threads after that many posts.

So I'll let the others drop their input first.

By the way, if we do lock things such as the Random Thread, we will be locking it, not deleting it.

So posters like Nissan don't lose 10,000 posts :lol:.

It was just a suggestion because eventually the thread will have so many posts it will take ages to load.

I'm all for that. Make a new Random Thread but it has to have a cool name, not "Random Thread Volume 2" but something more like, "Random Thread: The Next Coming" or something cool like that. :lol:
