They got Pudge to bolster the offense in the catcher spot. I definitely agree that Molina has done a fantastic job as a catcher, but he hasn't been able to fill that offensive drop when we lost Posada. Just check out these numbers for Pudge over the last few months. His offensive numbers have been excellent.

Even though I was a Farnsworth fan(that's pretty rare lol), I still understood that move by Cashman. We have a plethora of solid bullpen relievers to fill in the gap for Kyle. We just received Damaso Marte; Edwar has become a solid weapon much like Kyle(even better numbers actually), Veras has been solid all season, and we possibly have Bruney, who was having a great season prior to his downtime, coming back to the pen.

Oh yea, I just have to comment on how I loathe seeing Ponson take the mound. There hasn't been a Yankee pitcher I have less confidence in than I do in Ponson whenever he's to come in to pitch. He's just been lucky in his past starts with us with the offense giving him a break. Guy needs to be replaced ASAP!

I definately see where you are coming from. I just don't think they needed to replace Molina's bat. They have such great hitters, they can afford to have one bad bat with his defense. I agree moving Farnsworth isn't going to kill the team or anything, just the player they got in return was a very minor upgrage imo that he wasn't really worth giving up.

And I couldn't agree more on Ponson. Before his last start where he got hammered by Boston they were talking about how he's got an average of like 8 runs per game this year from his team. And he's 5-2, that's awful.

I just heard Manny is out of Boston this is a huge advantage for Yankees we must take advantage as Red Sox can never replace that production from Manny so let's get this comeback right now against the angels and LET'S GO YANKEES

Man, their pitching has just been terrible lately. Ponson is a joke and needs to be gotten rid of asap. 2 bad starts from Pettite and Mussina, which I know that's a rarity, but this losing 4 out of 5 games or w/e is killing them. Gotta pick it up.

Yeah. As an Angel fan it sucked so bad watching them make error after error after error, but the Angels deserved to lose for making so many dumb mistakes. Yankees @ Angels in four days I believe. Hopefully that series will be just as good as this one.

If they don't pick it up soon, their playoff chances are gone. Can't go .500 for the rest of the year and expect tampa and boston to just collapse.

Yo i got this from Nissan right here
Source

Sources close to Manny Ramirez claim that the outfielder would like to sign a free-agent deal with the Yankees this winter, according to The New York Post.[/b]"He wants to play for the Yankees so he can get at the Red Sox," a close friend of Ramirez's told The Post[/b]. Manny will become a free agent after the World Series, and is a New York native

Would you welcome Manny in pinstripes He like the Artest of baseball he comes with baggage but comes with a great reward if all works out I don't know if I can but i might have to pass on him just cause of his baggage

Yanks are now 8.5 back, not good at all. Angels continue to dominate them. Thankfully for Yank fans, there's still a crapload of time left.
