Not going to be easy, I also won't be surprised if we end up losing this one.

My Predictions -

Lakers- 101
Cavaliers- 96

Going to be a close game throughout but Lakers will go on a late run to seal the deal. Hopefully!

Kobe needs to show up too. 11/33 is way off his game and way too many shots

We got our revenge against Houston and Dallas, next up is the Cavs. This will obviously be tough but hopefully we send them a message and play a really nice offensive game with good focus and good lockdown D. Go Lakers lets get this!!!!! We will also need the refs to call a fair game this time and I really hope they do.

i would say this is really the first time all season we don't really have an excuse to not be "up" for a game.

if you've watched the lakers for any real length of time, you know team has always been well...cocky i guess, even before we won the championship, and now that we have? if you thought we had a problem not playing hard before...now that "not playing hard" last year worked essentially, you think its going to get better? yea right...i'm surprised we've only lost as many as we have...we're the champions, so they naturally think they don't really have anything to prove to anyone, but on the flip side, everyone wants to use us to prove something to everyone else. but i would hope they would be ready to use this game to show the league we're serious...people say our performances in big games are this year are [expletive]...but i say i don't really think this team has felt they've had many big games.

i still don't think our losses are that bad, remember, 7 game series...look at the teams that have beat us this year so far -

dallas, played again, owned by 30+, and then beat again
denver, haven't played again
houston, beat them by 9 next time around
utah, lost in utah (where its very hard to win) and we beat them by 20+ in LA first
cleveland, no excuse not to show up for this one on thursday
phoenix, owned them by around 20 twice...of course we thought that third win would be easy
clippers, beat them on opening night prior, and by 40 after
portland...we never win there...almost literally
san antonio, haven't played them again

correct me if i'm wrong or missed something, a real cursory look over the schedule

so what will really be telling will be the next time we play denver, when portland comes to LA, and this game on thursday
