Did any body see DeSean Jackson's play vs the cowboys?
He didnt even step on the touchdown and he threw the ball back. Watch the video.

from the beginning i thought the cowboys were a good team in the NFC but as an eagle fan i had no idea how good the eagles were

i mean putting up 37 points and shutting down terrell owens after that 1 deep catch

not too bad

asante samuel is better than i thought

and desean looks like a superstar in the making

first rookie with 2 100 yard receiving in the first two games since 1940

kevin curtis and desean jackson on the outsides with reggie brown in the slot that will be nasty

first of all should be in the NFL thread and more specifically the monday night thread

secondly the play didn't matter because the eagles scored right after

He made that same type of play in an All American high school game, he's a great player just flashy but still has made a great rookie impact.

They say he is really cocky.. But it would be a bigger issue if eagles didn't score.

Ok, but the eagles could of get a touchdown by this play too.
He did a stupid play. That cost them the game.

exactly someone to be excited about

someone that next season and every season after that if healthy we can look foward to a superstar in the making

all he does is get open

if you watch his route style, catching style, and attitude he reminds you of a certain name changing, trade requesting complainer in cinncinati

i know its premature but if you just look at their mannerisms and how the get open the resemblance is uncanny

felix looks like a baby warrick dunn to me

and desean looks like a baby chad johnson

the difference is felix like warrick with alstott will never beat out marion barber and will never put up big touchdown numbers since marion will get about 98% of red zone touches

desean on the other hand as a rookie has vaulted himself through injury to 2 starters to the starting line-up and has thrown up 2 consecutive 100 yard games and might have established himself as the best WR on the team

its all about oppurtunity desean got drafted to a team with a thin WR corp with noone really talented past #1 and #2 and with those two guys injured got the start and with his talent took advantage of the start

in dallas the only oppurtunity felix has is in the return game and some recieving chances or an injury to barber but as any dallas fan would tell you they would prefer felix not get an oppurtunity on barber's behalf much like desean has on reggie and curtis

barber is a probowler and while solid reggie and kevin were not stars

desean simply has gotten and will most likely have a better oppurtunity in philadelphia that felix will in dallas

i hope so

honestly not to put pressure on him but any shot of a superbowl within the next 3 years rides almost completely on his shoulders

he is off to an unbelieveable start though

i thought he was good and would eventually be a star

i had no clue he would be our best WR this year

Haha, I like how now that D-Jax is doing good in the NFL everybody recognizes it. Where was the love when he was tearing it up in Cal?
