Portland is an amazing team with a great coach. Lose so many players yet still win.

Bases Prediction:

Posted Image 92
Posted Image 107

Bases Prediction Stats (1 game):
Guess Within
Opponents:
Under 5 points: 0
Between 6-10: 1
Between 11-15: 0

Lakers:
Under 5 Points: 0
Between: 6-10: 0
Between 11-15: 0
Between 16-20: 0
Between 21-25: 1 (horrible)

The Lakers finally have a full "healthy" lineup and they can finally prove to the league who is boss. With Orlando's number 1 option shooting at a rate of 39% per game and shooting 3-38 in his last 8 games played, Lakers can focus their defense elsewhere where Orlando actually poses threats. If Andrew Bynum can work well with Pau Gasol once again, we should see Lakers win by 10+, if not, we could be looking at a closer game

Throw all stats away from this game, it's an NBA finals rematch and they will be looking for revenge. We need to play hard to win. It will be great if we can get a good W before going out on our 8 game road trip.

Magic are doing pretty bad but that's no reason to fall asleep, they can be deadly when they feel like it.

Last year when the Magic came to town and beat us, they were on a roll, winning lots of road games. Now they come in on a slump.

So, Magic may get motivated for this game to get back into things, plus a little finals payback would be nice.

However, we have sometihng to prove as well!

Lakers got this. However, remember last year. We lost to Charllotte in OT before our road trip where we went 6-0, beating Boston and Cleveland. Remember who fouled Kobe out in the Bobcats game? Shannon Brown! Anyway, we head out on the road after this, and I think our team will thrive when we embark on it. One game at a time, one at a time. Let's get the W tonight!

Seasons the Celtics lost ECF when Lakers won the championship (7): 1953, 1954, 1972, 1980, 1982, 1988, 2002
In NBA history, the Lakers have finished better than the Celtics by a margin of 41-25!

LA should take this game, especially since Orlando has been playing terrible. I feel that if LA wins this game, and wins the game in Cleveland that will start off our 8 game road trip in a big way.

Should be a very tough game - no matter what kind of slump they're in, this game means the WORLD to them. They are going up against the best team in the NBA, and the team that handily demolished them last year in the finals. Hopefully, we can get the win, and hopefully we can pull out a win in Cleveland this Thursday.

LA just needs to play offense through good defense and they will be fine. They need to shut down the open 3pt looks, and force D HOW to shoot the ball, and put him on the line VS him throwing down monster dunks. We have more than enough to take this matchup down, finals rematch hype included.

Well unlike last season, LA defends the 3 very well.

I know stats prove that but comeon, How many times was 3pt shooter left open and no one bothering to contest it? Just about every time. Honestly, I think our opponents are just missing, we're not doing much.

Stat's aren't updated for last game, but Lakers allowed
745 attempted threes, giving up about 18.63 three point shots per game, with opponents shooting at a rate of 30.6% (Leagues Best)
Last year 2179 3 point shot attempts which equals about 26.57 per game with opponents shooting at a rate of 33.9% (2nd in NBA)

A difference of 8 threes a game, that is a significant difference. I think this has to do with no Pau Gasol inside. Lakers are giving up the most shots in the paint per game, but they aren't converting those into points which is why Lakers are winning.
