FailBlazers will choke in the playoffs as usual, but the loss still hurts.

I'm scared of playing Portland in the playoffs... I think they have a better chance than anyone to beat us in the playoffs. ( Out of the West)

Somehow Tim Donaghy is still making money.
Everytime a foul is called when the opposing team steps on YOUR foot and [expletive]in falls, Tims [expletive]ing banking. This game made me sick AND I had to watch it with the damn blazers commentators uggggh I wanna kill someone
only Kobe can stop Kobe.

No one here ever posts that, but fans do have every right to be upset with there performance.

no, i get it.

but if you look around the league (i.e. boston, orlando with their problems), things could be much worse. trying to stay positive despite the loss...

Of course it hurts, especially considering one of their bench players had more free throws than our entire team, that's pretty damn frustrating. It also hurts big time when we get right back within 3 on two occasions, and then they go on stretches where they just do not miss. Killed us last year and killed us in this first game this year. But hey, championships aren't won in January.

It's really sad. I mean this team was getting talked about winning 72 games or somewhere in that range, but we're no where near that right now. :(

Who cares about 72-10? IT DOESN'T MATTER. The Larry O'Brien trophy is all that matters.

Yeah, and seeing how every time we go on the road and play a decent team and get our asses handed to us it's not looking like it should be right now! We need homecourt throughout. Gotta win games.

Homecourt throughout would be great, but we don't have to go 72-10 to get that.

I don't like to blame the refs either but there were alot of questionable calls and no calls.

Like for all the viewers who were watching the game on KCAL.

When Drew was on the block on Howard.

Juwan wacked the SH :censored: T outta Andrew an there was no call.
In the replay you clearly seen Juwans arm go right across both of Andrews.

all the ticky tac fouls they called on Lamar.
Which was what killed the Lakers momentum at the start of that 3rd quarter run.

The Lakers got the lead down to 2 then the refs called a weak foul on L.O and the Lakers drowned themselves in anger and never recovered.
Gotta shake that SH :censored: T off at those times.

B. Roy who was killing regardless , had a few whimpy fouls called in his favor.

But outside of the questionable officiating the Lakers shooting and lazy defense at times lost this game.

The Lakers are going through Champion Complacency but at least it's early.
An it helps somewhat that Boston and Cleveland lost tonight as well.

Better the Lakers work out these Kinks Now,
Rather than late in the Playoffs.

Embarrassing performance last night, Kobe wasnt efficient and he didnt get much help from anyone. The starting unit played well in the opening minutes of the third, but what a surprise we started playing lazy and gave up a bunch of second chance oppertunities.

Our defense against opposing pg's is just horrendous, Miller and Bayless had huge games. Bynum has been a huge disappointment this season, I wouldnt go as far as benching him just yet but if this keeps up we might have to try once Pau comes back.
