They fired right before he was supposed to get like a 100K bonus.
He had just signed an extension back in Feb too.

Yeh, they said Leach had him in there after the player suffered a mild concussion.
They fired right before he was supposed to get like a 100K bonus.
He had just signed an extension back in Feb too.
I think it was like 800k.

I'll say that Tech has some real problems with coach and administration relations. There was a shouting match between the Chancellor and Bobby Knight when I was there, the AD and Leach not getting along. It's ridiculous. I'd like to hear more of what Leach did, what his reasons were, etc. There's no chance he comes back though. That said, with the money TTU has generated in football, they can afford to pay a solid coach. They won't be as good without that spread offense, but they could remain a quality top 30 program.

They aren't presenting all the facts in the case so they can protect their own employee. Craig James's son is the one involved and they are showing a conflict of interest and basically ignoring most of the facts in the case to protect James. ESPN is being one sidedWhat are you talking about?
