idk fido.. this show is awesome to me.. it is filling in ALL KINDS of plot holes.. and the AWESOMENESS that is Yoda is just WOW... he owned Ventress and is still one cool cat..

it's also displaying that Obi Wan is one kick arse dude too and its kinda redeeming Anakin.. he's not whiny or reckless he's actually a true jedi.. sure there are flaws.. such as Anakins padawan.. i dont like her.. shes too bossy and powerful.. but even the eps when its just the clones is awesome.. it gives me the sens that there REALLY was a WAR going on.. and this is whats happening...

theyre sturggling for strongholds making alliances with Hutts... protecting out of reach outposts.. saving an astromech (R2).. they finally show r2's value.. i'm loving everyminute of this series... i like it better than the prequels... save for some awesome moments

I saw the Clone Wars movie and I have to admit it exceeded my expectations. Of course my expectations were so low, it would have been difficult not to. But it was OK. I have to admit. The cheesy "movie phone guy" voice in the intro was horrible. It makes me think the entire thing is going to be a slapstick comedy. Anakin's paddie is may be the most annoying Star Wars character sans Jar Jar.

yeah i DO NOT LIKE Asoka

the best eps were the ones without her or that featured little of her

the news broadcaster guy was pretty cheesy... but it's like a news editorial and kinda fills in the backstory each episode instead of the loooong scrolling text

But whenever I hear the guy, I think of the voice for the recruitment commercials in Starship Troopers. I can't take the show seriously after that.

Coming from a long time (once huge) fan - Star Wars is dead.

Inattentive writing and lack of interesting new direction has destroyed what was once a great American film institution.

Oh well, life goes on.

I think part of the problem is we have become enveloped in the pre-Episode 4 universe. You are right. The universe needs to tackle some new people. The Knights of the Old republic games and the 2 books are a solid example of an interesting new direction, but they aren't being given the commercial push needed to establish a big enough following to create bigger projects.
