It was discussed but now its dead but what would have been your reaction if Miami pulled the trigger on the trade

Source

The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls had recent trade discussions that included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and Joakim Noah, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Gordon is an unsigned restricted free agent, and Noah was only a possibilty in the deal.

The talks have died over the last week or so, and right now, they don't appear to have rekindled.

i really think Miami be getting a bad deal in this Larry Hughes is horrible and why Ben Gordon I don't think that can work with D Wade at the point and Ben at the SG, D Wade did say he didn't want to handle the ball that much, and why get Noah they have Beasley

The Heat are going to get ripped off in this trade.

Larry Hughes is a waste, Joakim Noah has a bad attitude and Ben Gordon does nothing but shoot. Bad deal in my opinion.

Should probably put that it's dead or just a rumor in the thread title. I've heard it several times before, thought it was a done deal by the title.

I think it's a good trade for Chicago if they can do it. Marion has $17m that will come off the books the following season and Chicago could use that money to get some of the star players that could be free agents after this season.

As for Miami, I don't see how Gordon will fit in with Wade. They're both offensively minded and neither has shown the ability to be a good point guard for their team.

That would've put Chicago in the conversation in the East.

PG - Hinrich / Rose
SG - Deng / Sefolosha
SF - Marion / Nocioni
PF - Gooden
C - Thomas / Gray

Its not a great team (woefully thin in the paint), but it would've been interesting to see them run together.

Yer right.

On fifth look, they still fall flat to Boston, Orlando, Philly, Washington and possibly Toronto.

Never mind.

Hey if they want to get rid off Marion I say send him here, Pat is a Laker, in heart he wants to see us in the Finals again. Pat can be our Jerry West and what I mean by that is that I think Jerry helped Mitch pull off that Pau trade, so why can't Pat do the same

Miami would've screwed themselves over if they had made that trade. Why trade away Marion for a washed up Larry Hughes, a one dimensional Ben Gordon, and a fugly Joakim Noah? The Heat wouldn't get any better.
